“Sisters” (2025) - Francesca Gamba

“Sisters” is a short film directed by and starring Francesca Gamba. It is a horror-comedy, so much of the scoring involved traditional thriller-scoring techniques like shrill violins and dissonant chords. I complemented the strings with some eerie synths and cinematic pads. Available for viewing upon request.

“Lalo and Lena” is a romantic drama that takes place in Chicago in the early 90s. The score features a lot of 90s-era drum beats and drum machines, and hip-hop inspired synth basses and keys. Available for viewing upon request.

DANCEWORKS 2025 signal::transfer

This is the piece I created for Al Evangelista’s Danceworks 2025 signal::transfer choreography “At The And.” The piece is made up of three full songs weaved together with some transitions. The music is heavily dance and electronic influenced with some lofi production.

Sound Design: Set Up A Scene - “Mixing Engineers Fumbling At The Board”

Here is sound design scene depicting two audio engineers who are out of their depths trying to work the mixing board at a local show.

The scene was semi-improvised, and the background chatter and reactions were actually the first things acquired. Sound effects like the dishware and microphone feedback were added last.

Election Day Voices

This is an experimental sound collage featuring real reactions from real people to the news of the 2024 election. The voices were acquired by the volunteers’ own devices and were entirely unscripted. Everyone was free to speak or emote however they wished.
