My name is Louis Van Camp. I am a composer, sound designer, and recording artist. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, but currently reside in Chicago, Illinois where I am attending Northwestern University as a student in the Masters in Sound Arts and Industry program.

I’ve designed sound for three full-length plays, scored over half a dozen short films (from drama to comedy to horror), and composed three albums of original music plus multiple singles and over a dozen themes for indie video games. I’ve also played and recorded with local Chicago artists live and in-studio. Most recently, I worked on a short film as the location recordist, boom operator, foley artist, and sound designer.
